Why is it that Rap artists get into the rock and roll hall of fame?

La'Marion- becuase rappers just want to apply to a different fan base and they want to act like rockers.

Shantia- becuase rap artists like run dmc are influential in music

Robert- I dont think rap artists should go into the rock and roll hall of fame they should stick to rap it makes no sense no matter how influential they may be they should have a rap hall of fame i dont think they should have somebody like lil wayne with a band like metallica. poeple who like rock wont listen to rappers trying to rock so its not really applying to a new fan base rap fans will listen to rap rock fans will listen to rock there is no in between it either rap and music like rap or rock and the different genres of rock.
